I am a jewelry thinker and object researcher. After my studies in the field of product design I redefined my own artistic practice. My work allows me to cultivate and reflect on the spaces in which I inhabit.
I CONSIDER CONCEPTS AROUND BODY, OBJECTS, CULTURE, AND MATERIALS IN A HOLISTIC SENSE. THE BODY IS CONSIDERED AS A SOCIAL, TRANSFORMABLE MATRIX, THAT IS INCONTINUOUS INTERPLAY WITH SOCIETY AND NATURE.
The interface between traditional craftswomanship and empirical research forms the framework of my creative process. My particular interest lies in the transformation of material properties in dialogue with the body and its surroundings.
