Hometown: SODOM is an immersive performance developed collectively as a journey through desire, destruction and otherness. Within the work, Davanzo developed two object series – Smoke of Sodom and Scents of Sodom – and performs as The Healer. Ceramic vessels, scented smoke and cast soap become part of ritualised encounters between performers and visitors, shifting the objects from sculptural forms into sensory and participatory acts.
